Henrik originated from Sweden from a small city called Motala near the lake Vättern. It was clear to him from a young age that he was a practical thinker and good with his hands. In 1995 he was accepted to the watchmaking program in Stefanskolan located in a small village called Borensberg. Directly after school, he got a job at a jeweller in Sweden, where he learned how to restore and repair vintage and antique watches and clocks. Once he had absorbed as much as he could, he made the bold move to Switzerland where he worked for Ventura, close to Zurich. It was here that he was introduced to the production of modern Swiss watches, as well as managing the aftersales service of their watches. When he felt had learned as much as they had to offer, he moved off to WOSTEP in Neuchatel where he was enrolled in the refresher course. Upon completion of the course, his teacher at WOSTEP suggested that he take up the offer of teaching at the school. Throughout his years at WOSTEP, he took every course they had to offer. This eventually culminated in him teaching the refresher courses, shorter specialized courses and finally the full-training course for complete beginners. In his free time, Henrik likes long walks, good food, good company and to be amongst nature. He considers Switzerland as his home but he still loves Sweden.
